Principal speech for farewell party

Every boys and girls of Bethany elementary school , Emily, and Melinda,
I'd like to thank all of you for giving us wonderful three weeks!

You tried making dishes and cups in the pottery room for the first time in Japan. I hope you will get fine pottery baked well by fire.

You got a lot of cheers from the people who came to see the track and field games. You are all very fast runners ! How fast you can run !

We Japanese all learned a lot about the United States of America from
the "Culture Show" and "Class lessons" you showed us.
Thank you very much for your nice and lovely dance.

I am sure and very glad that you liked "Higashi Kids' tower and its
ropeway." You tried and tried over and over again.
I suppose that each of you made a lot of Japanese friends here in this
school.

I sincerely hope that this wonderful international exchange will be an
unfogettable memory for both schools, and will be a friendly bridge between Bethany and Higashi, and between the United States of America and Japan.

Finally, I'd like to thank all Tokoname Higashi International Exchange staff and TSIE staff who made this exchange program successful.

I am now deeply satisfied with this exchange program
and I am grateful of this wonderful meeting and these 3 weeks.

May all of you have a wonderful and safe flight to your country
from the bottom of my heart.
